Press Room| Current StoriesOctober, 2008 Six months after being awarded the first Creme of Nature Community Grant Award, Be Totally You is just about to open its first multicultural hair and beauty training centre. Even the best laid plans can get frayed around the edges, and even if you are awarded £10,000 just at the right time, you can’t argue with the reality of having to deal with additional electrical, building and now plumbing needs. So it’s been a frustrating few months for Beverly Ejimofo and her team at Be Totally You as they work slowly but surely to the grand opening of their first multicultural hair and beauty training centre. The centre is close to Bromley North rail station in South London and will be called Galleria. Beverly commented “we are so close to opening after many setbacks, it has been a real struggle at times, but now we are almost ready to offer high value training that will make a real difference in many people’s lives”. We'll have more pictures and stories about Galleria and the first of many students as they start their courses. |
